Macchiato
INGREDIENTS
- 7 oz. (1 1⁄2 Tbsp.) milk
- 1 shot espresso
- Cocoa powder – to taste
Instructions
- Froth the milk into a “microfoam” that is nearly double the volume of the original milk, using the steam wand.
- Prepare the shot of Espresso in your favorite cup.
- Top the espresso with a dollop of frothed milk.
- Add a sprinkle of cocoa according to taste and serve.
Tip : For a dairy-free option, use oat milk.
Pro Tip :
For a Caramel Macchiato, mix caramel syrup or caramel sauce into the espresso shot before adding frothed milk.
