My old blender only mixed the butter and sugars but would gum up when I added the flour and I have to switch to hand mixing. This mixer has the power to mix all my ingredients for my cookie dough with its 5 speeds. Can rest the mixer on the edge of my mixing bowl as I am working. Brings back memories from when I was a boy and my mother let me lick the dough off the the beaters.
