It holds enough water to do a teapot and a double sized filter coffee. And it looks really nice on the kitchen counter.

I pretty much hydrate through herbal tea and boil the kettle several times a day without any problems. The pastel green looks so hot in my new kitchen. I bought salt and pepper grinders and a toaster to match and love the look. Boils fast, functional. and very attractive. Love this kettle.
