Wonderful Product- Finish needs Work
I purchased this beater 1 1/2 months ago from a certified Kitchenaid retailer, it took me that long to get my piece. I was so frustrated. I kept asking for help and they kept saying it will come.
When it came it was SS, but not marked or finished like it shows on video.
On may 12, I called Kitchenaid to ask for help, and spoke to a lovely service rep called Eunice, she was amazing. Went and checked with supervisor, and she said I would receive a new one within 7-10 days.
Well guess what I got today , my new beater. Its the next business day and it came to my door, no hassles.
The only down side is that the inside of the beater is not finished like a mirror like the outside.Other then that, it is perfect. I used it and boy, what a difference the weight of the beater makes.
I own 3 kitchenaid mixers. Actually, the first one I had I gave to my niece, so you can see I am a big fan. I love my machines. I am 73 years old and i love to bake and give food to my friends and family. They love it too...But this beater really makes a difference. I have the pro 6 and the pro 7. they should come with these machines. I had ordered the SS whipping beater years ago, and when I make birthday cakes and italian meringue frosting, that's the one you need.
Anyway, I want to thank Kitchenaid for standing by their products. I wish I was younger, I would want the Commercial 8 to add to my arsenal. I crave that machine. I can't thank you enough for getting this piece to me so quickly. Everyone in retail should be this considerate.THANK YOU!!!!

Will this fit my KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus lift bowl mixer!?
I have a cracked plastic beater and would love a stainless steel beater to replace it!

Tines warp out of shape
I can't tell you how many times I have had to replace this whisk because the tines bend out of shape so easily. I have two commercial mixers and bith whisks have warped yet again and need replacing.

very poor quality
I bought the stand mixer model KSM60 for my mother as a birthday gift. This attachment after a few uses has become oxidized and leaving black marks on her hand and whatever she makes. Very disappointed in the quality of this attachment . Expected better quality standards from kitchen aid.

Buying one per year as they break often
We keep having to replace these as the wires snap at the crimp point. We're buying on average one a year as they seem to break often.
