Rated 5 out of 5 by Sunny Florida from Makes mixing faster I got this for my Professional 6-Quart Bowl-Lift mixer about a year ago. It helps With creaming butter while it scrapes the sides of the bowl. It gets all way to the bottom of the bowl and up to the top,it helps a lot with smaller batches that seems to be when I have to scrape the sides more. It saves some much time not having to stop the mixer and scrape the sides of the bowl all the time. this is such a great product.

I'm almost positive I bought it just over a year ago, so it would no longer be under warranty, and I'm not sure what caused it to start chipping unless it hit the side of the bowl somehow. I have mixed emotions because for the past year I absolutely loved the flex edge beater, and used it ALL the time with my mixer, but I'm disappointed it only lasted a year before chipping.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dukefan from Does not scrape sides as promised DOESN'T FIT KP26M1X, despite Product "Help" Page The Product Help page (https://producthelp.kitchenaid.com/Countertop_Appliances/Stand_Mixers/Stand_Mixer_Tips_and_Tricks/Which_Flex_Edge_Beater_Fits_My_Mixer%3F) says "Fits select wide mouth 5 quart and all 6 quart mixers: KD2661, KL26M, KP26M1, KP26M8, KP26N9, KV25G, KV25M." I have a KP26M1X I have found that it doesn't scrape the sides at all because its too small. Checking the box that the beater came in clearly states that it is intended for model KP26M1 as does the documentation inside the packaging. This is either a documentation fail or a poorly designed product. Very disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by PhDMama from Doesn’t fit on the beater shaft I have a 15 year old Professional 6 mixer (kp2671xbu), and my husband gave this beater to me for Christmas, to replace my old flex edge beater. I cannot fit it onto the beater shaft. The pin on the shaft protrudes by a fraction of a millimetre beyond the slot on the beater, blocking the beater from being fully and properly installed. Did I get a dud, or is this a known issue? Kitchenaid, please help!
