NOT a bowl scraper
After having my 6 qt bowl lift mixer for…..7 (?) years, I finally splurged to get the ONLY bowl scraping paddle listed to fit my model and SS bowl. The specs clearly state KP26M1 is one of the models this paddle fits. It doesn’t. Not even close, unless “bowl scraper” means “you’ll still need to scrape the bowl because this doesn’t.” The performance of this paddle, or lack thereof, is laughable except that I rarely laugh when I flush $50 down the toilet.

Not up to the KITCHENAID nais Fme
I purchased my Kitchenaid about 5 or 6 years ago and probably purchased this Flex Edge Beater about a year later. I haven't used my mixer as much and thought I should try it with the new beater. It made an odd sound as if my mixer is struggling to breath! I thought I broke the mixer and quietly put a aside on corner of my counter. Last year (after about 4 or 5 years!), my sister-in-law (lives in Swiss) who is a specialist in cake making used the mixer to make 275 pieces of very rich wedding cakes and a teared cake structure!!!!!!!!! She said the mixer is awesome as she mixed most of the items by herself as everyone was busy with other wedding chores. I then realized that my it was my above beater's fault and not the fault of my mixer. After that I started making few recipes using the mixer and put away the $50.00 worth of flex edge beater. I just checked some of the reviews today and regret for not checking on it earlier. The beater came with the mixer is not great so I mostly use the Doe Hook and the Wire beater. So far things are good. Wish they fix the issue and release a better one.

Don't Waste Your Money
I waited so long for the flex edge beater, for the 6 qt bowl. I guess I should have waited longer. My model is the KP26M1XFQOB, It is so tight in the bowl it wouldn't even go on properly, never mind trying to turn the mixer on. As a mater of fact, I'm not even crazy about the 6 qt lift mixer. The shield to put the ingredients thru does not fit properly, keeps coming off (and I have tried more than one), it also doesn't get all the ingredients mixed on the bottom of the bowl, even adjusting the bowl. I'm totally disappointed with it all !! I would have been happier spending all that money on a new TV or tires for my car. My mixer is now another dust collector, an expensive one I might add. I'm sorry I gave it a one star rating, but zero stars isn't an option.

Doesn't fit
I received this for my birthday and it is too small. My model number matches but there is about an inch from the bottom of the attachment to the bottom of the bowl.

Does noy fit.
My husband got me this got my new lift mixer but it does not fit it hits the side of the bowl I will be returning. I replaced my 4.5 qt stand mixer with this because i bake so much and i had the same attachment for that size and it worked great so I wanted a new one for my new mixer really bummed it doesnt fit it to wide.

Too big for bowl
I used a gift card from Christmas to purchase this very pricey little tool. Thought it would be awesome, no more getting my spatula in the bowl, but boy was I wrong. Put on, didn't seem to fit right from the get go. Turned mixer on stir and bam, it scuffed the side and bottom of my bowl. I double checked the box and the model number of my mixer and it says it's the right one. Not sure what to do, scratched bowl and still no attachment. Model KP26M1XFQOB

Doesn't fit
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. I made sure it was for the lift mixer and for a 6 quart Metal bowl. When she used it ,it was to tight for the bowl and it kept hitting the edges and at times would stop the mixer. We are returning it back to the store we purchased it at.

not a good buy
If you look it don't have any cross bars inside of it like the other ones for different size mixers they have. It does not mix the ingredients good. had sugar lumps in the bottom and if you put on speed for the shoot the mixture out every where... I use speed for all the time with the blade that came with the mixer and no problem. Bad design.....

doesn't fit all 6qts
Just bought this beater. Place of purchase said it was for my 6qt 600 Series. It is not. Very disappointed. I bought it the night before I used it. Stuck the beater on, turned on my mixer and boom!! The mixer stopped, the beater wedged against the side. I immediately turned off the mixer and then had to fight with the beater to get it to release off of the mixer. Not only was it not for my mixer but it scratched my glass bowl in several spots. Soooo not happy. Wish the associate would have had a little more knowledge about which beater is for which series. Hopefully I will be able to get a refund. Scratched bowl will stay scratched I guess...
