The coating on the other two attachment has chipped off so now I worry that we have ingested enamel. The stand itself is amazing but the attachments are of inferior quality,

Rated 2 out of 5 by DAWS from Works well but for the oxidation I have to add my concerns about oxidation here too. I accidentally put it in the dishwasher one time and now it has oxidized. I used boiling water and vinegar to try to clean it so we will see how that works. I understand that this is hand wash only but for an attachment such as this it seems like it being dishwasherable would be a no-brainer.

For something that is used in food preparation this worries me regarding the safety of food.... also, one of the wires popped out. I thought it would have lasted longer than this given my expectations of quality from kitchen aid.
