They are excellent but should have been provided free of charge to all 4.5 , 5 quart tilt head mixers once the lead testing results from Lead Safe Mama was published. These stainless attachments are a must, they will last forever, they are exact same as aluminum minus all the nasty coating that will leach in your food! Stainless is non toxic, durable, dishwasher safe! If you do think about your health, dich the aluminum and get stainless! THE QUALITY IS TOP-NOTCH!

Rated 3 out of 5 by KitchenMom898 from Stainless Steel should be included The aluminum set that comes with the standing mixers are terrible. Not only does the coating come off, but there are many verified reports online of lead being present in the aluminum set. Buyer beware. And shame on your KitchenAid. I implore you to do the right thing, replace all aluminum parts with stainless steel for your loyal customers who already have purchased your mixers and discontinue including this garbage with your standing mixers in the first place.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Don't bother contacting CA SOCIAL CARE - they dont As per another consumer review earlier I reached out to CA SOCIAL CARE - about my concerns about the mixed "aluminum" paddles that come with the mixer - BIG MISTAKE, not only was I replied to with a canned, greenwashed statement prepared by their legal team, there was the added condescending remarks that I haven't properly maintained my machine and a video link to watch. CA SOCIAL Don'tCARE is more like it. I agree with the other poster that Stainless Steel paddles should come with the mixed to start with.

Why are we getting aluminum set instead of stainless steel? Why should we have to pay extra to buy this stainless steel? Kitchenaid should have done it right at the starting point.
