Good product, bad staining
I'm having the same issue that I'm reading about in the reviews above. I put this item in the dishwasher once and now have a black residue problem with my whip.

Issues with all 3 attachments
Like many of the other reviewers the whisk attachment has a black residue but worse than that, one of the wires cracked. The coating on the other two attachment has chipped off so now I worry that we have ingested enamel. The stand itself is amazing but the attachments are of inferior quality,

Works well but for the oxidation
I have to add my concerns about oxidation here too. I accidentally put it in the dishwasher one time and now it has oxidized. I used boiling water and vinegar to try to clean it so we will see how that works. I understand that this is hand wash only but for an attachment such as this it seems like it being dishwasherable would be a no-brainer.

Oxidizes and wire popped out
The metal on this product oxidizes after wash and leaves a black stain on anything it comes in contact to! For something that is used in food preparation this worries me regarding the safety of food.... also, one of the wires popped out. I thought it would have lasted longer than this given my expectations of quality from kitchen aid.

Horrible attachments
All of my attachments are unusable because they blacken our hands. Not safe to use. And now I can’t find stainless steel replacement parts.
