I contacted kitchenaid immediately. They were wonderful. They sent me the new piece in the mail with no question. It saved me a trip to the store

Rated 4 out of 5 by Yamikin from So far so good! Just recieved this and made sweet potato chips fried in tallow. I can't eat vegetable oil or potatoes and have been missing chips.... They were INCREDIBLE. One thing I don't understand is why the vegetable holder attachment is plastic and not metal... Especially for the price on this machine. I hope that it stays strong so I can keep enjoying my chips! I can't wait to try other recipes too.

However, there is a bit of waste in the very end. Remember that we are talking about organic shapes, and it will not cut completely even every single time, but is it pretty close to it. So, far, I'm happy with it

I was so excited to start making sweet potatoes fries, lasagna with zucchini, and chicken enchiladas! However, I have never been so disappointed with a product. It doesn’t work very well at all and it is super picky to the shape of the vegetable and the softness. First time using it I tried a sweet potatoe. It wasn’t perfectly round because it’s a sweet potatoe grown naturally with imperfections. It would not cut it properly because of the shape. Next, I tried a zucchini. That didn’t work either because it was too soft it didn’t turn on the kitchen aid. I would assume that would be the same with cucumbers as they are an even softer vegetable. Great idea but terrible application! I highly recommend you not wasting your money on this product.
