But I had noticed this year that the cone part moves around a lot more than it used to. Is there a reason for this?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Darlainexx from A game changer I bought this along with the food grinder when they were both on sale - directly from KitchenAid Canada. This was early 2022. I knew it would be useful to remove skins and seeds from tomatoes and apples for sauce. I am 74 now and my arthritic hands don't function as strongly as they used to so this is ever so much easier to use than my manual food mill. I may not use it too often, but it is truly worth the cost. It was an investment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Robbie75 from I have used mine to 'juice' citrus like limes I bought mine about a year or two ago. I am a 75 year old with many health issues. I planned to use it mainly to process tomatoes, but had a very poor 'crop' this past summer. But I also use it to juice lemons and limes. I just did a batch of limes the other day, but I forgot to slice the 'ends' off the fruit, and it caused the unit to stop and 'blow apart'.I thot sure I had damaged it, but when I checked it, there was no damage... VERY tough product. It took some work (out in my shop) to remove the auger from the sieve using a 1/2" bolt as a tool to separate things, but after a clean-up, I was back to work finishing the job. Cleaning the sieve is the hard part. When doing a 'juicing job' like I was, I recommend slicing the 'tips' off both ends after washing the fruit, then cut them into several smaller pieces to fit in the hopper. This allows me to maximize the amount of juice produced.'Fresh lime juice to make key lime pies'.
