I've been a pretty good chef I've been told by acquaintances. Baking is another matter. Since I got this baby I've been whipping up cake, cupcakes and bread. I make enough that my wife insists I move them out of the house and out of our drooling eyes. And yeah, my bois now call me "Cake Guy".

My first ever stand mixer, I wanted to go with the best, and indeed the best is what I ended up with. I've yet to throw a dough at it that it could not handle. My only notes would be that getting it in black was a mistake, as every puff of flour shows clearly on the beautiful body. Also that bowl is super heavy to clean! Still, easy enough to handle and it's quiet, powerful, and brings me much delight and tasty results.

It has been hard at work (with attachments) making pasta, bread dough and Andouille and Chorizo sausage. The bowl is gorgeous but for regular use, is a bit heavy. I will likely buy a stainless bowl eventually. Attached pic is on my smoker. 1.5 hours at 250F with Pecan chips and lump charcoal.
