This 30” gas cooktop includes Downdraft, an integrated ventilation system that doesn’t require a separate hood. The cooktop features a 17K BTU professional burner to achieve both high heat needed for searing and low simmer settings. The 5K BTU Even-Heat™ Simmer Burner enables precise simmering and melting while the 300 CFM exhaust rating means the venting can handle it all.

Downdraft Ventilation

Integrates the ventilation system into the cooking surface so that a separate hood is not needed. Smoke and odors can be removed and taken outside or filtered and recirculated inside. A duct-free kit is available for purchase separately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LjAl from LOVE IT! Had this installed a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. Not only does it look great but it's easy to clean and does a fabulous job cooking. Everything cooks so much faster but the heat is easy to regulate. I'm over the moon in love with my new cooktop!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Duggie from Just what we were hoping for. It was time to replace an aging, breaking, Jenn Air downdraft cooktop. What a difference! The control knobs are high quality and metal. I wasn't sure about their arrangement vertically on the side but now I'm more than happy with them. It makes more sense too in that food doesn't get splashed on them in that location. The grates on which the pots sit are a much better arrangement as well. I actually have more useable space on which to support cooking items. The downdraft, of course, is what we needed for our island and it fit almost seamlessly into the old ductwork. The housing is actually much easier to maneuver to make that nice fit. The igniters work instantly and we no longer have to worry about an element actually firing up. Clean up is much easier as well. Yes ... it was a good purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by kk91 from Almost Perfect We have had this cooktop for 2 years now and we (mostly) love it. Our only issue is that the adhesive on the decorative rings under the knobs have all started losing their stickiness and are just floating around. The other issue that maybe all gas cooktops have is that the fan pulls the flame (even on low) so food doesn't cook evenly and you have to turn the temperature up. Like I said, this might be an issue with all gas cooktops but it's our first so I'm not sure. Other than those two minor things, we have been very happy with it!
