36" Island-Mount, 3-Speed Canopy Hood

This 36-inch canopy hood provides the coverage necessary over a 30- or 36-inch cooking surface. Features like auto speed sensing ensure that the ventilation system will provide the power needed to protect your cabinets from steam, grease, and moisture. Four LED task lights provide ample light when cooking and two halogen night lights provide ambient light for the kitchen.

Power Boost Function

Assists high-heat cooking by activating maximum fan speed for five minutes to help quickly clear smoke and steam. This function turns on automatically if the hood's sensor detects high-heat cooking on multiple burners and can also be activated manually.

Automatic Turn On

Provides intuitive assistance to help keep smoke and steam from building up in the kitchen. If the hood's sensor detects high-heat cooking on multiple burners while the controls are off, it will automatically turn on the fan and set it to Power Boost.

Perimeter Ventilation

Pairs with any 30-inch and 36-inch range or cooktop with a total burner output up to 65,000 BTU

Rated 4 out of 5 by CCarfagn from Nice unit, meets the marketing claims well. We find our island hood meets our expectations in most ways. The design is very nice and fits well with our decor. Sound levels and suction are good and as expected for a premium brand. Features are also very good, we especially like the automatic feature that turns the fan on when it senses heat from below. One little gripe is that the control panel doesn't have backlighting so if you are in a dim kitchen, finding the buttons you want to push on the panel to turn on the light or the fan can be frustrating. A low level backlight that is on constantly would be helpful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by B and T from Unfortunate - Still Waiting for Replacement We purchased this at the end of September 2020. With a delivery date projected in End of October 2020. Apparently due to COVID did not arrive until January 2021. At Installation we were told it was a DOA As of end of March we await a replacement as lights do not work on it nor does Auto Fan. Difficult to evaluate quality of product when it is not working as advertised.
