Rated 3 out of 5 by SchneiderIS from Good cooling but concerned about durability The fridge does well at cooling. Milk and produce definitely last longer, but I am concerned about the long term reliability. We bought the fridge in 2018 but didn't plug it in for use until the start of 2019. Already I have 4 of the 6 side LED's not working! LED's are supposed to last between 20,000 and 50,000 hours of use. With the fridge closed the majority of time and perhaps has the lights on for 30 minutes in an average day I would think that they should last at least 600 years! Sadly they have not and yet these are only covered in the first 2 years of operations. The mechanicals of the cooling system is good for 6+ years, but not the solid state electronics! If KitchenAid doesn't trust their own construction for the electronics, does that tell you something about the quality of construction. This makes for a very pricy fridge.
