Ensures ingredients remain fresh for maximum taste and texture using a sensor-controlled system with a variable-capacity compressor. There is one thermistor in the freezer and one thermistor in the refrigerator.

Produce Preserver

Absorbs ethylene gas emitted by many fruits and vegetables, causing them to over ripen. By removing ethylene, the produce preserver helps extend freshness.

Well designed layout both upper and freezer. Improved produce drawers, better shelving, generous door storage and great 3 layers in freezer to separate storage.

Like and the reasons* we purchased the fridge: - panel ready* - inside water dispenser* - ice dispenser* Dislike: - glass shelves don't go all the way to the back of the fridge, food falls down the back, doesn't hold as much as our previous similar kitchenaid - have to keep the fridge setting warmer to keep veggies from freezing - French doors really bang when the fridge closes - deli tray is ok. Would be nice to have separators for this large drawer

Rated 1 out of 5 by deepee3 from HORRIBLE STAY AWAY horrible look - no way is it "counter depth" or panel ready. Juts out like an ugly sore thumb like everyone elses pictures. I don't know how this is even legal advertising it as panel ready or counter depth. What a waste of money. DO NOT BUY. just get a normal fridge if doing a built in fridge is out of the budget, this is WAY WORSE than a normal fridge look. one big mistake. beware, kitchen aid you are a thief for not accuretly describing the product or providing pictures of a finish installed look.

Water hose came off in the middle of the night lots of damage new kitchen floor and basement ceiling. Plumber replaced plastic tube with a Braided hose the one that came with the fridge was substandard
