COOLING OFF

Press and hold both LOCK and MEASURED FILL for 3 seconds

COOLING ON

Press and hold both LOCK and MEASURED FILL for 3 seconds

OPEN OPTIONS MENU

Press the OPTIONS button to open the Options menu and select among the MAX ICE, FILTER STATUS and MAX COOL features

Press ICE/WATER under BACK for Home screen

SET CELSIUS / FAHRENHEIT

Press and hold TEMPERATURE for 3 seconds for menu

Press LIGHT to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit

CHANGE TEMPERATURE

Press and hold TEMPERATURE for 3 seconds

Press TEMPERATURE to toggle between Fridge and Freezer

TURN ON MAX COOL

Press OPTIONS for menu, then press LOCK under Max Cool

MANUALLY TURN OFF MAX COOL

Press OPTIONS then press LOCK under Max Cool again

PRESS MEASURED FILL

SELECT UNITS USING BACK, “-” OR “+” FOR AMOUNT

PRESS DISPENSE

TO EXIT MENU PRESS BACK

• KitchenAid^™ water filter (KAD2RXD1) or everydrop^® water filter (EDR2RXD1)
• Dishcloth for drips

WATER FILTER STATUS LIGHTS

Press OPTIONS on the control panel to launch the Options menu

Press OPTIONS again to see percentage of filter life remaining

Press BACK, to return to the Normal screen

Yellow light means it’s time to order a new water filter (KAD2RXD1)
Red light means it’s time to replace it

CHANGE WATER FILTER (KITCHENAID™ FILTER KAD2RXD1)

Push on front of filter compartment to pop it open

Turn filter counterclockwise and pull straight out

Align new filter with notches on compartment

Gently insert and turn clockwise until it stops turning

To close, raise front of compartment door until it clicks

RESET FILTER RESET LIGHT

Water filter status tracking automatically resets when filter compartment door is closed

USING THE DISPENSER TURNS ON LIGHTS AUTOMATICALLY.

SQUEEZE SIDES OF EXPIRED FRESHFLOW^™ AIR FILTER TO PULL OUT

DISCARD EXPIRED FILTER

SNAP NEW FRESHFLOW^™ AIR FILTER INTO PLACE

TURN CONTROL LOCK ON

Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds

TURN CONTROL LOCK OFF

Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Clean sponge or soft cloth
• Mild detergent in warm water
• Baking soda

TURN POWER OFF

Unplug the unit

TAKE OUT ALL REMOVABLE PARTS

• Shelves
• Door bins
• Sliding storage tray
• Drawers
• Ice Bin

Be careful not to bump any of the glass materials while cold or they may shatter

WAIT UNTIL INTERIOR PARTS ARE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE

HAND WASH WITH SPONGE OR CLOTH AND MILD DETERGENT IN WARM WATER

RINSE AND DRY INTERIOR PARTS

HAND WASH FRIDGE INTERIOR WITH WARM WATER & BAKING SODA MIXTURE

2 tbs baking soda to 1 qt of water

REPLACE INTERIOR PARTS

TURN POWER ON

Plug unit back in
